Please accept our deepest condolences in the passing of Reta. She was a wonderful kind spirit, always full of life and energy and she will be missed in the neighbourhood.
My mother is the neighbour next door to John Rowles. The running joke with my mother was trying to determine how old Reta was, as Reta would never tell my mom.
Summer time is when we would see Reta the most, as she would drop by my mother’s place to deliver some of the great vegetables from her garden or try to convince my mom that she needed a few more of her flowers in the front flower bed.
What I will remember most about Reta, is the twinkle in her eye and the impression of a lady that enjoyed every moment of her life to the fullest.
