Condolences
Dear Mr. Walker, and family:
I was very sad to hear of Mrs. Walker’s passing. You both were so much a part of the Old Veg community where I grew up, and I remember her kindness when I visited you in Calgary when I moved there in the late 70’s. Mom and Dad (George and Lorna Hoggins) pass along their sincere condolences, as well. May many happy memories comfort you.
Heather Paziuk (nee Hoggins)
Herb & family,
I was saddened to read of Leona’s passing. I have many fond memoris of you both coming down to Viking to see Ed & Rita when my Ed (Edgar) and I were there also. And it was always great to see you at Robert McClure United dinners in N.E. Calgary. She was a lovely, devoted lady and I know will be missed by many. My thoughts are with you and your family. May your memories give you peace. Sympathy to all.
Delores Massey
We first met Leona and Herb when we became neighbours in 1974 after we moved to Calgary from England. From the first moment we became friends and even when we returned to England we kept close contact with them. We are so sad to hear that Leona is no longer with us, the world is much sadder place without her! Our thoughts are with Herb and the rest of the family.
