Dear Marilyn, Lee, Scott and Family;
I was so sorry to hear about Shawna, as you know we were friends for many years, she was loving, caring, and a mentor for me and many others. We had many great times together, she made me laugh when I was sad, although we have not been in touch for a long time, I thought about her often. My thoughts are with you and your family, you have lost a daughter, but gained an Angel. She left us all with love and wonderful memories, there is no need to pray for Shawna, God took her for a reason, we only have to pray for ourselves for she is not here with us on earth, but she is still looking out for us, she will always be there.
Luv Carla Neyrinck
My thoughts are with you also, Shawna was a beautiful being.

Shawna – it has been far too long since we shared your bright, beautiful smile and your kind, gentle, caring personality. We truly hope the path you continue to walk is a peaceful one.
To the McCallum / Christiansen family – as you celebrate Shawna’s life treasure the love you always felt, the smiles you gladly shared, the memories that will live forever long in your hearts and the wonderful daughter, sister, wife, friend, she was… God bless you all in such trying times.
My sincere condolences to the family of my friend Shawna. Lee, Scott, Tracy, and Mrs McCallum.
It does not seem long ago that I spoke with Shawna. My fondest memories go as far back as when we all lived in Marlborough (mid 70’s to early 80’s). I too lived in Kelowna and whatever time I had to spend with Shawna, was always most pleasureable.
What a beautiful women. That enormous smile, and shrieky laugh and her gift of making others smile. Shawna won’t be forgotten.
Shawna was a wonderful person. She had a great sense of humour, and heart. My prayers are with you. I hope you rest in peace.

My thoughts & prayers are with Mrs. Christiansens family. Mrs. Christiansen was my assistant teacher in woodman Jr. high, for the last 3 years. I became very close with her, as I spent some time talking with her about my mom, who was also battling cancer at the same time. I will always remember her.
