Condolences
Susan,
My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your mom. Keep the good memories of her wrapped around you like a warm blanket!
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
Debra
Dear Butch, Robin, Susan and John,
To see Lois’ picture in the Obits this morning brought back a flood of memories. Good memories of good conversations. And regrets too that in recent years I had lost touch with her. Strangely enough this past week I had thought I must make the effort to see where Lois is and how she is doing.
The notice in the paper was superb. It captured the Lois I remember and I learned much about her we had not covered in our conversations. Our conversations concerned mostly our children. We worried through some years with Steve and Butch but in the end took pride in their accomplishments. In the accomplishments of all our children.
Unfortunately because of a prior commitment I will be unable to attend the Memorial Service. I’ d like to touch base with the four of you. I will be thinking of you.
The death of a mother is a special kind of loss and comes with a mix of emotions. Words of sympathy are inadequate but I want all of you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
With love,
Becky Lathrop
