Obituary of SHAW – Robert Joseph

July 31, 1931 – October 29, 2010 Bob was a simple man who lived an uncomplicated life. He loved outings, festivals and the Stampede. Bob’s passions included fixing bikes and square dancing. He is survived by his brother, Don; nieces, Donna (Jim) Pass and Marianne Shaw; and great niece and nephew, Andrea and Philip. Thanks to Dr. Blakey, paramedics, PLC emergency and treatment room, hematology MTU and nurse Esther. Special thanks to Jack, Jim and Murray who helped Bob live a happy independent life. A Graveside service for family and friends will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery (Erlton Street and 31st Ave S.E.) on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. A mass in memory of Bob will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 14th Street S.W.) on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
