August 21, 1948 – October 24, 2010 The Very Rev. Keith Francis Sorge VF passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Medicine Hat at the age of 62 years. Father Keith was born in Pincher Creek, AB on August 21, 1948. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 6, 1976 by Bishop Paul O’Byrne at St. Michael’s Church, Pincher Creek. Father Keith ministered in parishes throughout the Calgary Catholic Diocese for over 34 years including the City of Calgary, Bow Island, Foremost, and Brooks. At the time of his passing he was pastor of Holy Family Parish, Medicine Hat. Father Keith is survived by his siblings; Nadine (Bill) Hall, Roslyn (Keith) Tomchuk, Wilfred (Bev) Sorge, Terry (Deb) Sorge, Allen (Mary Ann) Sorge, Patrick (Faye) Sorge, Danny (Cathy) Sorge, David (Wendy) Sorge and Donny (Lori) Sorge. He was predeceased by his parents Harry Wilfrid Sorge and Josephine “Annie” Sorge. Memorial Masses will be celebrated at Holy Family Church (1451 Strachan Road S.E. Medicine Hat, AB) on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church (958 Christie Avenue Pincher Creek, AB).
