Jim, June and Sheila – our condolences on the passing of your father. Even after all these years I still remember his laugh – funny how some things stick with you over the years. He , along with your mom, were great friends of our parents and I have very fond memories of the families growing up in Ottawa. He will be missed.

Good Friends of Jim and Pamela

To June, Jim and Sheila – my deepest condolences on the death of your Dad.

He took a chance with me and started me on my career path which led to my being able to support myself at a difficult time in my life. I have had a wonderful life, due in a big part, to your Dad. He was a great mentor. I have thought a lot of him over the years, especially when I retired after 37 years with the PSAC. (2003)

I was sorry to see that your Mom has died also.

My Dad died last year, but my Mom is still alive (93 years old). She has dementia and lives in a nursing home in 100 Mile House, B.C. where my brother Richard lives in my parents home.

I will be forever grateful that we were neighbours in Hearts Desire.

Please accept our condolences. What presence Jack had and a legacy he leaves us. We did not have a chance to know him well but were graced by his charm, wit and intelligence during our last visit to Calgary.
