I was saddened to hear of Lorne’s passing and wanted to send a message of deep sympathy to the entire Roberts family. Lorne was a dear and long-time friend to our parents and we will never forget how ever-present and supportive he was to our family during Dad’s illness and final days. My sincere condolences to Margo and the entire family at this difficult time.

Jim and I were very sorry to hear of Lorne’s death and would like to extend our sincere sympathies to the Roberts family. You are all part of the wonderful legacy that Lorne left. We wish that we could be with you on Saturday to celebrate Lorne’s life. He will always be remembered for his warmth and generosity and will be greatly missed by all.

Uncle Lorne was a very special person and one I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with and catching up during family get-togethers in the past. Our deepest sympathy to Auntie Margo and the rest of the family.

To the Roberts Family
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family, especially to Carmen. I am thinking of you all at this difficult time. Lorne and I were playmates back in our school days.

I express to the Roberts family my sincere condolences with the passing of Lorne.
We shared many years in the business world with the Westburne group of companies, where Lorne paid such a major role in the success of our company.
May you rest in peace Lorne.

I am using this format in order to reach all of the Roberts family. The Waddells and the Roberts go back a long way. I think of Lorne the way I think of Margaret, Margot and Terry – as a family of warm, gracious and kind people. From the time I was a young boy, Lorne invariably treated me with an interested respect. He always seemed glad to see me and the feeling was mutual. I know Lorne Roberts was a successful man, a loving husband and father and a loyal friend. I will remember him for that, and for the contribution he made to my own sense of self worth. I hope time brings you all confort and peace.
