It is with great sadness that I heard and then read of my uncle Stan’s passing. I will remember him always as a jovial outgoing personality, with a great love for those around him. The two memories that stand out in my mind are how he would build a rink in their backyard at winter time for everyone to enjoy whether you could skate or not, which I could not. Also that he loved to play his guitar with my mom (Doris) at gatherings and it did not matter how good or bad the music was, just that people who cared about each other were together and having fun.
