Obituary of PURVES – Stanley William

November 22, 1932 – October 13, 2010 Stan Purves, beloved husband of Amy Purves of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Stan was born in Regina, SK and raised in Milestone, SK. He moved to Calgary to begin a career in the oil and gas industry retiring from Oyo Geo Space. He will be missed by all. Besides his loving wife of forty-seven years, Stan is survived by two daughters Lesley Secreto and Vicky Purves; a son and daughter-in-law Randy and Andrea Purves; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Doris Bee and numerous nephews and nieces. Stan was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Amanda Purves and three brothers, Allan, Moe and Orval.
