Condolences
I struggled for more than two days but could not find the appropriate words upon reading Bill’s obit in the Sunday Oct. 17 new paper. Nan wishes to send her most sincere regrets along with mine. We would also like to mention that granddaughter Sarah will never forget your presents from Spruce Meadows.
Dear Audrey & BJ
We are sending you our sincerest condolences on Bill’s passing and are so sorry we weren’t able to attend the service. Our Whitefish family memories would not be complete without including stories of the Shackletons. Those long,hot,lazy summer days on the water, family golf tourneys and singsongs around the firepit with so many laughs and stories. The large gatherings at your condo with good food and interesting guests. We will always remember Bill as a person who circled himself with interesting people because he truly wanted to know them and their stories. Your trip to Olney always comes to mind. Please know we are thinking of you at this sad time. Dunc and Linda
Dear Audrey and B.J.
Greg and I remember all of you in our thoughts and prayers. You were just the best neighbors.
I remember well the first time we met and I tossed the baby at you – nice introduction! The evening after the funeral I went up on our berm, overlooking the Farkas’ pasture and to the baying of coyotes, I saluted Bill with a cup of scotch. Yep, I yelled a “here’s to you Bill!” to that old moon and startled the cattle. I figured Bill would have liked to be remembered in a place that you all remember so well.
We wish you love.
Greg Faye and Family.
Dear Audrey and Billie Jay,
Deepest sympathy to you in your loss.
He has solved life’s wonderful problem;
The deepest, the strangest, the last;
And into the school of angels;
With the answer forever has passed.
Sincerely,
Dr. Carol Winnick, and Regina
Audrey and family, You are in our thoughts today and always! Bill and Anna Lou must be having some great golf games together! We will stay in touch! Your friend always; Jack and family
