Dear Ed,

It was with sadness that I learned of your loss of Marlene. I have very happy memories of her when she was our CGIT leader in Provost many long years ago. Looking back, I admire her dedication to our group and have a special place in my heart for her for the fun and joy she shared with us all. She was a treasure.

Bill and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to your and your family on your loss. I know she will be greatly missed.
