Obituary of SHORTREED – John Jack Leo

November 15, 1930 – September 28, 2010 John “Jack” Leo Shortreed of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Born in Fergus, ON, Calgary has been Jack’s home for forty years. Jack was predeceased by his wife Barb Fleming. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his children, Steve (Barb) Shortreed of Fergus, ON, Dee (Dave) Brown of Kitchener, ON, and Sandy (Glenn) Caughey of Cambridge, ON; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Jack will be remembered for his colourful personality and generosity towards all. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through .
