Condolences
Cas and family, this is late in coming, but I thought of you the other day, and well, a little research was completed with sadness. I’m sorry we missed you all these years and hope your memories keep you smiling just in knowing what a wonderful man and friend Rod was. He loved you all dearly, and I know he is looking after you now.
Peace be with you all,
Gid and Tracy Lockhart
Hi Cas. I am sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. I met Rod in 1988 and we kept crossing paths ever since. I will miss that devilish gleam in his eye and will fondly remember all the laughs we had.
Cas,
So sorry for your loss. Rod was a good man and a good friend. I enjoyed our fishing trips, the laughs, the stories.
He will be missed.
Carol
My thoughts and prayers are with you
and your family during this most difficult of times.
Dear Cass, I am so sorry for your loss and so shocked. I just spoke to Rod
recently when he changed dates for his
fishing trip.
You are two of my favorite people. Please e:mail me when you feel up to it. Bless you Cass, Renee’
My deepest sympathy to you and your family in this most difficult time. I met Rod while I was on a job assignment in Melbourne in 1997. We shared a few Friday afternoon tee off times in the golf courses of this city. Followed by, of course a few beers on the 19th hole to talk about the good golf shots of the day. I am pretty sure, he can squeeze a round of golf up there.
Darrell and I are saddened and sorry to hear of your loss. We didn’t know Rod well but he and all your family made us feel so welcome as if we’d known you forever when we visited your house with my sister and brother-in-law (Teri & Neil Bonel). Rod was a wonderfully fun guy with lots of laughter. Sending you love and sympathy at this very difficult time.
Chris & Darrell, Cochrane AB
My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Rod was part of a worldwide engineering software community and will be missed by many. He’ll be up there eating barbequed salmon. Simon Spurrier, Sherwood Park.
Our memories of Rod are endless. A truly wonderful and true friend with whom we shared such special times. Rod’s presence envoked a thousand stories and always will; our sadness however has no words, we will miss his laughter but his memory will always be in our hearts. Caz, Brad, Stacey and Chad, our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
