Obituary of COLLISON – Rodney Charles Harwood

June 2, 1942 – August 30, 2010 Rodney Collison, beloved husband of Carol Collison of Bragg Creek, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Carol, three children Brad, Stacey (Ray) and Chad (Kristy) and six young grandchildren Savanna, Sierra, Niko, Barrett, Marco and Reese. He met and fell in love with Cas, who would be his wife and lifelong partner, in England. Together they immigrated to Canada and worked hard for many years to create a life of love and support for their family. They shared many, many adventures. Rod loved to fish and shared his passion with his wife, children and young grandchildren. Rod loved Bragg Creek, and enjoyed very much the quiet moments with his family and friends over a bon fire where he could regale his countless stories from times past. Rod was a provider above all and wanted nothing more than to take care of his family. His quiet soul, gentle heart, and keen mind will be greatly missed.
