Dear Dave, Trevor and Nic,
I am so sad to hear of Wendy’s passing. Even though it’s been almost 20 years since we’ve seen each other’s families it seems like yesterday. I have great memories of her in our younger years. She was thoughtful, joyful, and a loyal friend. I will forever be grateful to have known Wendy.
Condolences to Dave and the family who loved and cherished Wendy.
Dave, Trevor and Nic
I still can’t seem to even believe my always smiling friend is gone. I still remeber when Melody and I moved into the duplex in Mount Royal to discover that our dear sweet Wendy went with it ?? and so the friendship began.
Words can’t express or ease the loss and pain you all are going through – just remember she is an angel that always is with you
I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of the loss your family has had to endure, and wish you and your family all the strength to make it through this time.
Tammy Berezowsky.
Dear Dave
I was very sorry to hear the news of Wendy’s passing, and I wish to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family. I wish you strength during this time of great sorrow and loss.
Dear Dave,
Looking back at those times over the last 30-some years when career moves have allowed our lives to intersect, we count ourselves lucky to have known you and Wendy as friends. God doesn’t always share His plans with us. We can only have faith that Wendy has gone ahead and is waiting for us on the other side. Now it’s up to us to make the most of our days until we can all join together once again.
Dear Dave and family,
Maureen and I were deeply saddened to hear of Wendy’s passing.
I know this will be a very difficult time for you and the boys.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ted Brownlee

Dave and family,
Klaus and I want to express how saddened we were to hear what little time you had with Wendy after your move.
We were both so inspired by Wendy’s positive and self-less attitude she maintained throughout her battle with cancer.
We will miss you both as neighbors and wish you all the best in Calgary.

Dave, Nick and Trevor.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. My fondest and first memory of Wendy is when she had sewn outfits for our “runway” show when I was in Grade 6. I thought & still do, that she was amazing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Dave, Nick & Trevor,
Kathy and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Wendy. We had no idea that she had been sick. When I first learned that you were moving back to Calgary and that you would be a close neighbour we were both excited about reconnecting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Dave, Trevor and Nick,
My deepest love and sympathy to all of you.
I will miss my dear, dear friend and playmate. Wendy amazed me with her everlasting enthusiasm and love of life. Her spirit will remain with us forever.
With much love,
Terry
We were very sorry to hear about Wendy’s death. Scott had told me she had been sick. He is away now in the Arctic. I hope you are all holding up well. It is a difficult time. We are thinking of you. Take good care of yourselves.
Although Wendy’s passing was expected it seems far too soon and no easier to accept. Heaven is getting a super-positive, happy, upbeat person. Each of our children, individually meeting Wendy, would later comment, “She’s so nice!”. We were amongst couples for an evening-out the day she and Dave learned the cancer had reappeared. Rather than risk spoiling our event she chose to wait a few days to let us know. We thought it amazing that she maintained her cheery personality behind this dreadful news. But that was Wendy then and at the end. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave and the boys, who got regular doses of Wendy’s love and will miss her a great deal.

Dear Dave, Trevor and Nick
Aunt Wendy was a beautiful strong woman and we are all so blessed to have known her. Even though I haven’t seen her since she and Uncle Dave moved back out west, I still vividly remember our visits, her warm heart and her contagious happiness. She lived every moment to the fullest and her courage and strength is an inspiration to us all. She will be missed but she is in a better place now, with mocha by her side watching over us all.

I am so sad and sorry to hear about my dear friend Wendy. We shared many happy times and memories together working for the lab. Wendy always talked about her boys and how proud she was of them. I loved Wendy’s sense of humor and her positive thinking, and we became such good friends in Calgary during those years. My prayers and thoughts are with you Dave and the boys and all of Wendy’s family. Nancy Chmilar
Dear Dave, Trevor and Nick,
My deepest condolences with Wendy’s passing.
Wendy is taken away from us to go to a better place, her spirit will always be around us as she smiles and loves us from above.
Wendy will be deeply missed. Her big smile, love and kindness will stay forever.
May she rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Cathy Baas
Our deepest sympathies to Dave, Trevor and Nick, Wendy’s parents and family who will miss Wendy deeply. Because of geographical distance we did not spend as much time with Wendy as others, but she touched us with her spirit, laughter, determination, caring and especially her late courage in her battle against cancer. Dave, you and the boys were there for her in every way to give her comfort and strength. On the day that Wendy passed I saw a double rainbow on the drive home from work, and once at home a huge rainbow over the lake; the first time ever to see this. I believe it was Wendy’s spirit stopping in to say so long, and to tell us to follow our dreams and that she is now free to follow her own rainbow, maybe to a new marathon!
Much Love, Roz, Gerry, Cameron, Kayla, Duncan and Michelle.
Dear Dave, Trevor and Nick,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to you. I am so very sorry to hear of Wendy’s death. There are just no words to express my sympathy.
I always admired Wendy’s positive attitude throughout her illness. She had a beautiful spirit and an equally beautiful smile.
Every time I saw Wendy this last while, we were each at the hair salon. We would always laugh about how that seemed to always be the place where we would see each other. Even on Bailey and Jer’s wedding day, we ran into each other that morning at the salon.
May she rest in peace now.
Sincerely,
Barb Olmstead
