Condolences
Dear David, Laureen and family
You and Laureen were a real gift in Blythe and my lives. Your Mom must have been a great role model to follow! May you have many joyful memories to sustain you.

The Swann Family
My name is Sheila Jones. I am the step-daughter of Bruce Clarke and Vera Clarke’s daughter. I did not read Sunday’s paper until Monday and was greatly saddened to see that your mother had passed away. She was such a lady and I so enjoyed talking with her when mum and she were both at Trinity. My mum, Vera, was very fond of your mum. She welcomed Mum into that close-knit group of friends when Mum and Bruce got married. Mum is still alive and living at Cedars Villa. Her situation is heart-wrenchingly sad. She doesn’t know any of us and doesn’t talk at all. Physically, she seems fairly healthy although she is confined to a wheelchair. Had I read the paper on Sunday, I would have attended your mother’s funeral out of respect for both she and my mum and Bruce. I am sorry. I couldn’t find any addresses in the phone book or in mum’s address book so had to send this impersonal e-mail via McInnis and Holloway. May your happy memories sustain all of you during this sad time. God bless. Sheila Jones

To the Swann family,
Our family is very sorry to hear of the passing of Margaret. She was a very good neighbor, a kind and loving mom and grandma. May you all find comfort knowing that she lived her life to the fullest. Condolences from the Harapnuk family formerly of Roxboro
Hello David, Laureen and family,
My thoughts are with you and I am sorry for your loss. It seems that Margaret Swann lived a wonderful life!
Blessings,
Victoria
David and Laureen,
I recall you walking down the aisle at Scarboro United, proudly holding your mother’s hands. We are so sorry for your loss.
Claudia and Max
To the Swann “kids” — My memories are of the unusually happy home across Roxboro Road, of five accomplished, can-do kids coming and going, and of Nerdie, part dog, all object of love and laughter. Both your parents were gentle and welcoming. Your gracious, wry mother seemed to be the anchor of the home. It takes a lifetime to realize that loving homes make safer neighbourhoods make a more caring world. Thanks for your mom’s good life. My condolences. — Bob Mercer
I live at Trinity Lodge and it was a privilege to meet Margaret and have visits with her. A lovely lady, she will be missed.

Sorry to hear about your mothers passing. I will miss her and I am sorry that she is no longer with us. Sincerely Tommy and Doris Owen.
I have always enjoyed the many previous visits by Mrs Swann. I do not recall a time when Mrs Swann would pass our Co-op Travel office without a wave or quick hello.
Mrs Swann was a wonderful lady.
My condolences to the family.
Jack from Calgary Co-op Travel, Oakridge Center.

My heart goes out to you. I will hold you in my prayers.

As a boy of about 13 years old I was in the same secondary class of Susan and Robin. I recall being in the Swann home and the welcoming presents of the twins mother Margret Swann. She was a striking woman and very warm to me.
I wish the family my condolence.
