Obituary of Catherine Alma CAMERON

May 9, 1928 – August 17, 2010 Catherine Alma Cameron passed away peacefully on August 17, 2010. Alma was born near Fredericton, New Brunswick and lived in Saint John until 1968 when she moved to Calgary, Alberta. Alma retired from Sears in 1982 and enjoyed many wonderful years of retirement with her husband Harold, her family and many friends. She was a faithful and life-long member of her church community. Alma is survived by her brother James MacFawn (Sandra) of Saint John, NB; her loving and caring sons and their spouses, Allen (Nona) Cameron, and David (Fran) Cameron. She is also survived by two cherished granddaughters, Cathy Steinke and Susan Olson and their families and two wonderful grandsons Steven and Kevin Cameron, many nieces, nephews and a very special and care-giving friend, Sharon Cameron. Alma was predeceased by her husband Harold in 2001 and earlier this year by her sister, Rachel Orser. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Young officiating.
