Condolences
I am just hearing of the passing of Dominique and I know I am very late. I would just like to offer my sincere sympathy to Bryan and extended family. So sorry for your loss. We haven’t been in touch in sometime but think of you often. God Bless
Hi Clayton, I met you once back in late 1981 as Dom introduced me to you.
I was saddened to hear of Dom’s passing.
I met Dom back in the spring of 1981. I later left Calgary and moved to Vancouver where I still live. He was a kind and gentle man.My condolescences to you for your loss.
Grant
I used to live across the street from Dominique and Clayton but they were more than neighbours. They were even more than friends. They were kindred spirits. I’ve often thought of Dominique, (but always in conjunction with Clayton) since moving away from across the street of 29th Avenue in Marda Loop and I feel so badly that I only today learned of Dominique’s passing. He was a wonderful person, loved children, was warm, and accepting, intuitive and creative.
Hi Clayton, You may never receive this because I just found you via Google and I don’t know how else to contact you. At any rate, I was pained to hear of your loss last year. Sounds like Dom was ‘Mr. Right’. Thinking of you :) Clifton (cliftc@cox.net)
Clayton, we are so very saddened by this. We’re thinking of you…please know our hearts are with you.
Dom was an amazing induvidual. He was always there to help anyone that needed him. I had never met someone with so much passion and such a great sense of humor. The world is a little darker for having lost him. My heart goes out to his family.
A month has almost gone by and it is difficult to imagine that my brother has left this world.
As sad as his loss is to many of us family and friends, I continously get reminders of the gestures of kindness that he so generously graced many people with.
I also think about how difficult it is for Clayton to adjust to a new life after sharing so many years of close friendship with Dominique.
On behalf of Nancy and I, Marylyn, Evadnie, Norman, and Bryan we offer Clayton our sincere condolences and we hope that you will carry with you the best of memories for ever.
Our thoughts are with you,
Frank Saulnier on behalf Dominique’s brothers and sisters.
Working with Dominique was like working with a fresh breath of air every day. always doing all he could to make life easier for everyone else except himself. Truly a loss to the world.
Clayton, there simply are no words that even come close in describing what kind of a man Dom was. I had the sincere pleasure of working with this wonderful man and what fun we had! Even though our working relationship was short lived, the impact he had on me will last forever. He was one of the last good ones left here and if we all help people 5% of the way Dom did, this world would be a much better place. May God bless you Dom…John Draper
Clayton, we are so sorry for your loss.
I remember Dom being Santa for so many years at Louises’ carolling parties, and the times we had dinners and visits together. You and Dom were the most welcoming and loving couple anyone could ever ask to know.
Clayton I don’t want to intrude, but would love to see you and help you in any way I can. I make a mean meat pie. And would love to visit with you. Jane Dutton & Al with love xoxoxoxo
Words cannot express my deep sorrow at hearing today of your loss of Dom. I worked very closely with him while at LWI and he was genuinely one of the best people I had the pleasure to know. My deepest condolescences on your loss, he will be missed, yet remebered, by so many…Michelle Lee
On behalf of Dominique’s sister Evadnie and her family…
Although we did not live close by and hadn’t connected recently we will always remember his gracious and caring character.
I remember when I was young visiting and thinking how “cool” my uncle was becuase he had so many records! And all the recent music a teenager would love! I also remembering one time on business I visited and was overwhelmed by how he (and Clayton) welcomed me into their home and went out of their way to make one of the best meals I have ever had.
Clayton, we are so sorry for your loss and to all of his friends – thank you for your kind words, I know my mother and the rest of the family are grateful you were all in his life!
Jean, on behalf of my family
Carol, Luke, Mark, Evadnie and John
