Dear Gary and family,

I am sorry to hear the sad news that your Helen was fighting Alzheimer’s. Ken Tatebe sent me the obituary from the paper. I did not know your struggle but know of its devastation as my father was diagnosed at 73 and lived until 87. The battle was far too long.

Take care of yourself and hold tight as a family and know we love you, you are not alone.
