Condolences
I was fortunate to have known Florence, for the past eleven years or more. I was her hairdresser, I remember the first time I did her and she told me NOT to make her look like a old lady! Florence was always smiling and even if she was having a bad day you would never hear her complain about anything or anybody. I would truly like to extend my heartfelt condolences to her family I know you will miss her as I will, God bless and rest in peace my friend.
Rest in peace Florence, you will definetly be missed by everyone who knew you. I will never forget your BIG smile. For the family that Florence leaves behind “be strong and support each other through this “grief.” Take great comfort that Florence is free from any pain and is with her Lord.
Peace be with you all.
Dear Jackie and family,
Looking at this picture of your mom on-line, it doesn’t seem real that she is with our Lord. Her spunkiness, and smiling face will always be with me, and I’m sure with you. When I met your mom, and your family, I was again overwhelmed with how great our God is. This illness has been hard on your family, and hard on your mom, but what hope we have knowing that she is with our Lord. When I flew in from Nova Scotia, to care for my daughter Natasha in the Foothills hospital, I prayed that God would give her the will to live, since she had given up. He put an angel in her hospital room, and as I have told you before, that angel was your mom. Your mom inspired Natasha to have peace, but also to fight for her life, and look after your mom those long nights. We can’t thank you and your mom enough for that time. We could not plan that time where we lived in the hospital together, but please know how much we appreciated and loved what your mom did for our daughter. I will never forget that day when Tash begged me to bring in her dog, and the next day, Florence showed off her dog. We had our own secret dog visits, and we didn’t care what anyone would say!!!
You are tired now, and it is all right now, to say to your mom, that you will see her in heaven.
God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:29
and my favorite verse…Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he wil make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
Please hug your wonderful children and husband for us, and even though we are far away, we will never forget your mom’s smile and love for you.
God bless you all, and I can’t wait to see Florence’s tree next time I’m in Cochrane. It will be a special moment.
Love you and God bless you all,
Kerstin Boyce (Natasha’s mom)
