Obituary of WILSON – Florence Irene

July 1, 1929 – July 21, 2010 Florence Wilson of Calgary passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her life partner Thomas Byrns; and her children, Pat, Bob, Bill, Mary Anne (Jay), Beth (Kevin), and Jackie (Jim). She is also survived by her mother Edith Baldwin; her sisters, Jean Kennedy (George) and Betty Pickle (Murray); her twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Wilson, her father William Kennedy and her sister Joan (Kennedy) Lambier. After a long and courageous battle with cancer she went to be with our Lord. She will be loved and missed by all of us and will always be in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is with God. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
