Condolences
Dear Cumming family,
We remember Wesley with fondness. I remember how he came to shovel snow from our parents home in High River and how he would sometimes appear at the door with a piece of pie for dad which your mother had baked. Always so cheerful and kind. A loving soul and valued by those who knew him.
Sincerely,
Margaret Feyrer Clarke
Doreen and all of the family:
My thoughts are with you, on Friday, for the service dedicated to Wesley. He was a sweet and very kind man who touched not only his family but all that knew him. He made us laugh and appreciate the simple joys of life we all take for granted. I have very fond memories of him when I was a child visiting him and Grandma Cumming in High River. He called me Missy Boo.
He always greeted everyone with such enthusiam and it was always a pleasure to see him at all the family gatherings. I hope he has reached a beautiful place in heaven complete with a never ending supply of lifesavers!
Much love,
Evyan Jarrett
Of all the members of Knox Church, Wesley was the one who never failed to greet you with a cheerful “Hi” and a sincere smile. I personally was not aware that he was suffering from disease during these years and it amazes me that he had such a cheerful attitude in spite of it. We could all learn from his courage. The congregation will surely miss this wonderful guy. Sincere sympathy from both of us

I am sorry to hear that Wesley passed away. He really will be missed by you and your family. I always admired how happy he was to see his friends and also to meet your friends. He has had to cope with a lot of health issues in the past few years but he certainly did have a wonderful life with the love of friends and family and his church activities to support him.
My granddaughter is getting married in BC on Saturday so I regret that I can’t attend the funeral.
My regards to you and your family,
Maud K.

I was saddened to hear of Wesley`s passing. I don`t ever remember a time when he was not happy and friendly. His cheerful presence and gentle greetings will be missed.
If I were not at my aunt`s funeral at the exact same time tomorrow, I would be at Knox to share in honouring his life. While I will be with my family as we remember my aunt, my thoughts will also be with you commemorate the life of such a gentle caring soul.

Doreen, I am so sorry to hear of Wesley’s passing. My sincere condolences.
Dear Doreen and family,
I am deeply saddened to learn of Wesley’s passing and wish to express my sincere condolences. Although I did not know Wesley well, it was always a pleasure to hand him a bulletin at Knox and to receive the always cheerful “Hi”. I’m afraid I won’t be able to offer my sympathies in person on Friday – I will be on an airplane at that time – but my thoughts will certainly be with you.
