Obituary of PRESSER – Inge Nyberg
March 4, 1944 – July 10, 2010
Inge Presser of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the age of 66 years.
Inge was born and raised in Denmark. She resided in Holland with her husband Paul A. Presser, for twelve years prior to moving to Calgary in 1979. She was perhaps best known as the face of Anna’s Designs, the company that she and her sister started. She contributed to the community in numerous ways. One example is that she ran the Danish Pavilion at Spruce Meadows for a number of years. However, friends and family will remember her as a caring and kind hearted woman who put everyone else first. It is a testament to her spirit that we can say that she was liked by all and loved by many. Through her determination, grace and wisdom she left the world a better place than she found it. She will truly be missed.
Inge is survived by her son Feiko Presser, her sister Grethe Sorensen both of Calgary, her sister-in-law Lonneke and her husband Kai Noerrung of Denmark and their daughters Mette and Nina.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul A. Presser on March 27, 2008, as well as her parents Ansgar and Anna-Sophie Sorensen.
A Gathering to celebrate Inge’s life will be held at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. We would like to thank the staff in unit 42b and 46 at the Foothills Hospital and Tom Baker Centre for the excellent care, kindness and dignity they showed both Inge and her family.
