Flora and Family :
Many years ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Ted while on a cruise.
Although this was a number of years ago, we remember it fondly. You just can’t meet Ted and then let the occassion slip from your memory.
Ted was a man with a magnetic personality……..a very kind disposition….a wonderful sense of humor…..and just a ” down to earth” manner. How could you not love this man.
Flora….we hope that the wonderful memories you and your family have of the many good times together with Ted, help you through this difficult time.
We were blessed to know this wonderful man
Don and Nell Jacques
We are sad to see that Ted has left us as both Joann and I always enjoyed our brief time spent with him. He always treated me with respect and for that alone, I was grateful. We lost a great man. Our love to you and the family. Joann & Rogers Lehew
We feel fortunate to have known Ted throughout the years since we were all at university together.
He was a great friend and neighbor and a tireless worker in the Calgary community. Bill also remembers his good work with the TB Association when Cecil Crooks was Secretary of the Association.
Our heartfelt sympathy to Fora and family in your loss.
A University of Alberta dental classmate recommended Ted to us when we moved from Edmonton to Calgary in 1966. His office was in the Greyhound Building on 7th Avenue at that time. Arlene came to appreciate Ted’s humour when she arrived at his office one day in a very colourful dress, to which he remarked “not getting enough attention at home eh?”
I knew Ted was a bird hunter (more pursuit of a pheasant than hunter I suspect), an activity which surely underlined his love for the land.
We still miss his dental care and his dental team.
Dear Flora and family,
We’re really saddened to hear of Ted’s passing. We greatly respected and admired his contributions to the community and the profession of dentistry. I (Dick) have many fond recollections of our early days in the dental practice.
Our sincere condolences.

Flora Allison & family:
Condolences from the Walkers and Duncans of Calgary, Gordon and Jackie Walker, Anne (Duncan) and Murray Walker, Jena and Sarah Walker and Merle Duncan on the passing of Ted. Our teeth, our sense of humour and our life would have been less had we not had the pleasure of knowing Ted. He’ll miss you all but he’ll be watching over you.
Love,
From the Walkers and Duncans
In the past few years the Rotary Club has lost many fine gentlemen. Certainly, Ted was one of the finest. Before Graham died I usually saw Ted at the 39th LRT station when I picked up Graham every Tuesday after the Rotary meeting. Ted never failed to come to the car to say ‘hello’ and share some laughter. Graham and I used to talk of the ‘talent’ at the Rotary BB’s where doctors, dentists, lawyers et al scrubbed the pots and pans. Ted was usually up to his elbows in suds. He will be missed by those who knew him well and others, like myself, who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
Dear Flora and family,
I was a patient of Ted’s in 1955 and on, and as I was a young struggling student nurse he took pity on me financially and he charged me much less than the actual charges. I never forgot his kindness. I send heartfelt condolences to all of you.
Dana Hergott
To the Allison family,
We were all so sad to learn about Ted’s passing. If going to the dentist could be called “pleasurable”, it was a pleasure to sit in his chair and we all missed him when he retired. I will always fondly remember him as a younger version of my Dad.
With deep condolences,

I recall during December of 1964 that I had a dental emergency. I telephoned Dr. Allison at his home on a Sunday morning I met him within the hour at his clinic. He was truly dedicated to his patients and well regarded over the years, I remain, Peter Pallesen.
