Doreen & Wally,

I am sad to hear of Kathleen’s death. Before I met either of you, your mother and I met at Lorraine’s Bible study group on Thursday mornings. Your mother was respectful of others, sweet and kind, but no pushover when it came to expressing and defending her own opinions. I respected her immensely for the grace and the grit she must have possessed to bring up two children alone in the Fifties.

Dear Doreen and Wally and family..thinking of you all..I remember the gentle smile that Mrs. Farley had and I think that is where Doreen gets that kind, compassionate smile, as well. Truly a matriarch of a great family. God bless, Marina

I was saddened to hear from my mother that Kathleen Farley passed away recently. Although I’m not sure if I met Ms. Farley myself, I’m certain that, like her daughter Doreen, she was a kind, pleasant, thoughtful and loving person.

I wish her family the best during this difficult time.
