Condolences
Doug, Jayne and family
So very sorry to hear of your recent loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
On behalf of the congregation of Lakeview United Church where Lynn was a member for many years, I offer her family our condolences.
Lynn was one of the first people I visited when I came to Lakeview, and I followed her journey from rehab, the sale of her Lakeview home, to her new home with visits and phone calls and, of course, our monthly worship services at Garrison Woods. Sometimes her friend (also now deceased) Doreen Organ would tell me when Lynn might appreciate a visit or phone call. Our pastoral care team was always glad to personally bring her special gifts from the congregation at Christmas and Easter, since she was not able to come to worship in Lakeview any longer.
With sadness and gratitude for the promises of God which now hold her in eternity, we release her from the cares and troubles of this world. Rest in peace, Lynn, and may light perpetual shine upon you.
in Christ,
Rev. Diane J. Strickland, for the congregation of Lakeivew United Church.

Lynn and Doug Walker were our next-door neighbours for 18 years in Lassiter Court. We will miss Lynn – as we have missed Doug – friendships such as ours will always remain strong in our memories.
Our thoughts, prayers and love go to all of the family.

To Janice and family,
I would like to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss and wish to offer my condolences.
Although I only met Mrs. Walker once, I know she enjoyed my crabapple jelly!
God Bless
I am saddened to learn of your mom’s passing. I remember my being in the presence of your mom and dad while on the board of Easter Seals an always enjoyed event. Know that now she is in the loving care of God and reunited with your dad.
My sincerest condolences
Gordon Astle, Past Pres. Alberta Easter Seals.
Walker Family,
I am so saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. I have so many fond memories of family gatherings at your house and ours, filled with her laughter, cooking and reminders to all of us children to have fun. She was so easy to talk to and showed genuine interest in my life and adventures. I appreciated her kindness and love. All of you are in our thoughts and we want you to know that.
Love Lauren and family
