Obituary of WALKER – Lynn

Lynn Walker was born in Bellis, Alberta and died on Monday, June 28, 2010 of congestive heart failure. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas William Walker in 1999, after 45 wonderful years of marriage. Lynn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family; Doug (Jayne), Keith, Lisa (James) Nemeth and Janice. Lynn also cherished her grandchildren; Alison and Andrew Walker and Matthew, Jordan and Justin Nemeth. She was very proud of all the members of her family. Lynn is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Payette of Oakland, California and her two nephews, Jim and David Payette, and their families, all of California. Lynn is also survived by her foster child Ileana Mero Cordova and her family in Chile. Lynn enjoyed golfing and playing bridge at the Earl Grey Golf Club for many years. Lynn is a charter member of the Head Injured Relearning Society, which in turn established the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. A Celebration of Lynn’s Life will be held at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel (8241 – 31 Street S.E., corner of Glenmore Trail and 31 Street S.E.), on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
