Condolences
I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Janet as Shannon’s little sister. Through Shannon and Liz, I knew she was a beautiful and accomplished woman. She will be missed.
To the family,
I am very sad to hear of Janet’s passing. Although we had lost touch, I fondly remember many happy times spent with Janet and the Daly family when we were young and at school together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I hope that the wonderful memories you all have of Janet help sustain you in the days to come. She will be missed I know.
Kindest regards
Liza
My sincerest sympathy goes out to you, Janet’s family.
Janet’s enthusiasm for being outdoors and being active was infectious. I know her from participating in snow-shoeing and remember feeling instantly impacted by her generosity and exuberance. She was so welcoming to me and my friend, and especially my dog, and we shared a lovely stroll through Earl Grey together. I will fondly carry the memory of her positive energy, the excitement she shared about healthy living and her unadulterated passion for the love of being outside doing what she loved. What a wonderful woman and a true inspiration.
Sincerely,
Mellissa Tremblay
My deepest sympathy to Darryl and and Janet’s family at the loss of your beloved Janet. She fought courageously and continued to live on her own terms during her ordeal. I know that you did everything humanly possible Darryl to love and care for Janet over the last year. I only met Janet once at Karen’s and her dynamic personality and love of life were evident to me from that first moment. I’m sorry I was unable to attend the celebration of Janet’s life earlier this week but you were all in my thoughts and prayers.
Darryl, you will need time to grieve and mourn your loss but when the time is right, I would be pleased to talk and or meet with you about the grieving and mourning process. If and when you would like to do that, please call me either at home (403 282 8353) or on my cell (403 8520546). I have learned a lot about the resources that are available for support in these situations since my wife Christine’s death last year.
With love and blessings,
Keith Fewster

We were “sisters” in this disease and of Christ. I never met Janet in person but we had a genuine closeness on the phone. She is looking down and reminding all of us we are all in our temporary home and she will welcome us when it is our time.

Dear Patrick and Brad;
I am sad for your loss of your mother. When we spent time together it was always with great love that she spoke of her sons and how much joy Patrick and Brad created in her life. Being with Janet and hearing her speak of you in her life was a gift as she was so proud of you and grateful that you are her sons.
Dear Daryl;
you are a gift that Janet loved so deeply and she was grateful to have as her husband. I am sorry for your loss and know that my prayers are with you at this time. To watch you and spend time with you and Janet in the past year was a gift and I am thankful to you as you showed how to be a husband in action.

A unique and wonderful woman who touched the lives of many people. I loved chatting with Janet about her trips to the Carribean and her love of St. Vincent and Bequia.
Janet packed many experiences and adventures into her time with us – a life well lived.
My condolences for your loss.
Dear Shannon,
I heard of Janet’s passing through my cousin’s wife, Camilla Spackman, and though you and I have not stayed in touch, our friendship was so much a part of helping to define me early on, that so I felt compelled to write and offer my deep and heartfelt condolences. No one our age should lose a sister, and yet you have, and I’m so sorry. I pray that you will feel held and bolstered as you mourn and that you will picture a dear old freind in Oregon who still loves you and remembers. . .
We wish to express our appreaciation to Janet’s family for all the interest that Janet has had over the years for Pat and I through our illnesses, which thankfully have been resolved, and for her continuing care and concern for both of us. We are very grateful.
