Dear Peggy, I was so sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. I will always remember him with such fond memories. He was the strong silent type, always behind you, and so supportive of your craziness. What a lovely pair you made in your life together. Big hugs to you Peg. Love, Jodi.

I would like to pass along my condolences Peggy to you and your family. Gene was just a great guy and I know he will be greatly missed by every one who knew him. I will especially miss him on the golf course, we played some good games last summer.
I know how painful it is to lose someone so special and I hope that loss will be easier to bear given some time.
I am thinking of you and I am here for you at anytime.
ALL OUR PRAYERS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS TIME OF GREAT SADNESS.
Gene will be missed for so many reasons.
Our deepest sympathy to all of the family.
Kindest of thoughts,
Gary & Ronnie
Dear Peggy, Bev, Ken, Nicholas & Joel
We grieve with you today and send our deepest sympathy. We have cause to celebrate Gene’s life for his kindly and gentle ways, his loving manner in which he encountered those he met. In his memory we will make a contributiion to restore the little rural church he was baptized in Sich Lolomea, where he embarked on his journey of life. May he rest in peace. Love and Blessings Nestor, Jackie Barry and family
To Aunt Peggy, Bev, Ken, Nick and Joel
Our deepest sympathies to you with this news. Uncle Gene was always one of my favorite Uncles amongst a cast of characters. He was generous, kind and helpful to us when we lived in Calgary and I have many great memories when we were young – it was always good news to hear that Uncle Gene and Aunt Peggy would be at whatever family function there was in Vegreville. I hope these next days will pass with some comfort knowing that he will rest now with our respect for the deeds of his life.
