Denise and Milo; We were away on the weekend and I was going though the papers today and saw the news of Tyler’s death. I cannot imagine how you are feeling and the pain and sorrow in your hearts when you lose a child. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. When things have settled it would be great to hear from you, drop us a line. Love Brenda and Art
I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Tyler Heal’s family. I was a Teacher Aid who worked with Tyler when he attended Grade 9 at St. Thomas school in Red Deer. Tyler was always so full of life and I really enjoyed my time with him. His smile was infectious and he always cheered me up with his thoughtful and caring nature. I can’t imagine the pain your family is enduring and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dennise & Milo,
There are no words to adequately express the sadness we feel for your loss of Tyler. Though we only met him a few times, his smile and happy personality shone through.
Wishing you all strength and peace in the difficult days ahead.
Sincerely,
Linda, Travis, Brad, Stephanie (& Chiraz)
Milo and Deni – we are so very sorry for your loss. We can’t even begin to imagine the pain that you’re going through right now but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It’s so hard to understand why those that we love are taken so early from us, but please take comfort in knowing that all the wonderful memories you have of Tyler will keep him close in your heart.
Love Claude and Brenda

In our thoughts and prayers

When I opened the paper last night Tyler’s bright smile and the sparkle in his eyes jumped off the page at me. It has not changed since the days when it lit up the halls of St Pats School. As a teacher there are always students and families who hold a special place in your heart and the Heal Brothers are one of those for me. My heart is with you today.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
My deepest sympathy to Tylers family.
Tyler was a good friend of my son Josh, who passed away in a car accident 5 years ago. Tyler and I had a great conversation about a year ago, he was a wonderful young man.
Remember, he is always with you in your heart and memories, and no one can ever take that away.
When I read the obituaries last night, I began to shake and my stomach went into knots….another parent had joined the CLUB! The club NO ONE wants to be a member of…”The I Lost A Child” club. I just kept reading the obituary over and over and then the memories of Tyler came floodig in…..What I remember most about Tyler were his eyes and his smile. His eyes lit up when you talked to him. They had a “guess what I’m going to do next” twinkle in them. I loved that about him…he reminded me of shorter version of Craig! And that smile…the million dollar smile that you could see for miles!
Even on his way to the principal’s office he would smile, raise his eyebrows and shrug and say….”they just don’t understand me!”
I remember 9 years go when a young boy almost 14 yers old showed up at Eventide Funeral home the night before Craig’s funeral. He hugged me and said ” I am so sorry, Shorty” The empathy, courage and maturity he showed during that time was amazing! You raised a great kid, Howard! Tyler even rode his bike over to our house that summer…just to see how I was doing… that meant so much to me!
Most teachers didn’t understand him….he wasn’t a bad kid..just one who didn’t fit the mould they wanted him to….he had more energy, he was bored easily and wanted answers to his questions..RIGHT NOW! Again, a shorter version of you know who.
Know that Tyler will be thought of often and stories of him will be shared by many in the years to come. His memory will live on through these stories. TYLER HEAL will NEVER be forgotten!
Speak of him often, speak of him honestly (Tyler and Craig were little “shits” sometimes)lol,…and keep talking….this is the start of a tough journey for you and your family!
Our hearts break for you,
Ron and Laurie
I send my deepest condolences to the entire family. I’ve had the chance to get to know many of you over the last 7 years and wish only the best for you all in this difficult time. I know Tyler had a hard time adjusting the last couple of years and I hope healing comes to you all in knowing that Tyler is now at total peace. You all have been, and will continue to be in my prayers. He will be remembered for his wonderful spirit and great heart. He was able to put a smile on anyone’s face and his memories will continue to do so for years to come.
God Bless,
With Love,
Tiffany Graversen

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I met Tyler about 10 years ago when we were camping at Buffalo Lake, the kids went off to play and came back with Tyler and Joel. My daughter Krystal and Tyler kept in contact which in turn kept me in contact with Tyler over the years, which I am grateful for. Tyler was such a unique person well beyond his years in many ways he seemed like an old soul, I always looked forward to my visits with him!! He will be forever remembered and missed in our family. Violet, Kim, Krystal and Kori
We had the pleasure of meeting Tyler a couple weeks ago in Sicamous. He will be remembered by us for his outgoing personality and smile.
Our thoughts are with your families during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.
