Obituary of HEAL – Tyler Thomas

July 10, 1986 – June 5, 2010 It is with great sadness that we let family and friends know of the unexpected passing of Tyler Thomas Heal. Born July 10, 1986 in Red Deer, Alberta, he spent his early years there and later moved to Airdrie where he resided until his passing. Tyler’s biggest joys in life were spending time with family and friends, participating in sports and candy…yes, candy. He enjoyed many sports such as hockey, golf, badminton, biking, boarding and lacrosse. Although following a serious car accident he was unable to participate in many of these activities, he worked very hard over the last two years to regain his skills. He was beginning to enjoy golfing once again and was looking forward to playing in an upcoming tournament. His continual smile and wonderful sense of humour will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his parents, Dennise (Milo) Long and Howard (Linda) Heal; his older brothers Ryan and Joel Heal and his sister Makena Klaning; his grandmother, Wilma Heal as well as many aunts and uncles: Rose (Myles) Monea, George (King) Heal, James (Sheila) Heal, John (Merlene) Heal, Wendy (Jake) Van Herk, Paul (Janis) Heal, Pam (Thenasus) Bourazani, Mark Loftus. He was predeceased by his uncle Bob Loftus, his grandparents Myrna and Lorne Loftus and his grandfather Thomas Heal. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Tyler’s Life at First Assembly Church (6031 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
