Obituary of Tyler Robert RIES

January 14, 1998 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan January 27, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta On Sunday, January 27th, 2019 Tyler passed away suddenly at the age of 21 years. Tyler Robert Ries was born on January 14, 1998 to LaVonne and Kevin Ries in Saskatoon, SK soon after he resided in Calgary for a few short years and then moved to an acreage by Kathyrn. Tyler graduated Grade 12 at Beiseker High School and carried on to further his education with electrical at Lethbridge College. Tyler touched many people and loved everyone and everything. He was passionate for playing Hockey (Beiseker Blazers) as a goalie, baseball as a pitcher, and soccer. Always offering a hand or volunteering in the community of Irricana. He truly enjoyed being with his buddies, loved many outdoor activities (fishing, camping, pig roasts, dirt biking, and a late night by the fire telling stories). Tyler played minor hockey in Beisieker from atom all the way to midget. Tyler enjoyed cooking, baking, eating his nana’s cookies & grandma’s perogies! He loved playing cards and poker too! He cheered for the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto BlueJays, and of course the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Never in my wildest dreams, could I imagine that you would leave us. Gone too soon. We shared many memories, laughs and tears. I always enjoyed your company, always sad when you left me. I love you son and I’m always going to miss that one last hug. Love in memory for all of us who truly loved you Tyler. Tyler loved family. He is survived by his loving parents, LaVonne and Kevin. He cherished his brother Ryan, sister Lexie, Grandparents Cora and Terry, Evelyn and Bill, and Terry and Shirley. Tyler also leaves behind a special auntie Jo and uncle Kelly. He was loved by so many more cousins and friends who became family.
