Condolences
Kelly and Family,
Just saw Mike’s name in the U of A alumni magazine New Trail.
It’s been 25 years since we’ve been in contact with you, but we certainly remember sharing times together during high school and university days. And I recall sharing study time with Mike as we both pursued our EE degrees.
It is certainly a shock to read of Mike’s passing. Donna and I hope that you are doing ok and wish you our best.
I’m guessing that you are in Calgary, as are we. Perhaps we’ll have the opportunity to cross paths sometime.
Our sincerest condolence to you Caitlin and your whole family. We are very sorry for your loss and we truly hope that you and your family find comfort in the memories and happiness you shared with your Dad. Your memories will stay with you and keep him alive in your heart, as you walk forward in your life. You are a strong and beautiful young lady and we know that your Dad will be beside you to give you the strength to get through this difficult time.
Take care

We were so sad to hear about Mike. Truly one of life’s tragedies for someone, like Mike, to be taken from this world so young. Mike definately left his footprint with everyone whom he came in touch with. A very remarkable person. Whenever we think of hockey, Mike always comes to mind. The world has truly lost one of the best. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am sending a little poem to you. I hope it can bring some comfort to you at this difficult time.
When you’re all alone
And all you see are the shadows,
Just close your eyes
And I will be there,
For deep in your heart,
Runs the blood same as mine.
And in your mind
I will whisper my words of comfort.
No Matter how close
Or a lifetime of distance,
I will always be with you
All you need to do is close your eyes,
When you are happy,
I will laugh with you
When your tears fall,
I will feel your pain.
When ever you need me
Just close your eyes
I will always be with you.
Take care.

I haven’t seen Mike & Kelly for a long time but have fond memories. I spent quite a bit of time with his parents. I’ll keep your family in my prayers Kelly, Theresa and everyone. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Over the years I’ve heard Aunty Theresa speak so proudly about all her children & her words of Mike & his family is exactly how its written above. A man full of integrity & love, gone too soon. Sorry I can’t be at the funeral, we live in Texas now but my heart is with you all tomorrow.

The Legacy Of A Really Good Man Lives on Through His Family… Countless good deeds and unselfish gestures can add up over a lifetime to become the legacy of a really good man. A good man is gone and his absence will be felt. He made a difference in the lives of so many people because of all he was and all he did for others. The world won’t be the same without him. Such a good man could never be forgotten. Mike Devall is just that Man! I know sometime soon Kelly Caitlin and Brennan you will Live Love and Laugh again. The Perry Family.
God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and said,”come home with me. Now we think of you in silence, we often speak your name, all we have are memories, and your picture in a frame. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we’d walk a path to heaven, and bring you home again. Our family chain is broken, nothing seems the same, but God calls us one by one, so the chain will link again. We pray to God in heaven, to take this message above, tell Dad (Mike) how much we miss him, and give him all our love……………..Our sincerest condolences to Kelly and Caitlin and Brennan.
