Condolences
It is with a very heavy heart that just now, I read of the passing of Dr. Hunter. He was our doctor since the 1970’s until he retired. He was our go-to doctor for every little (and big) pain we had. He saw me through all my track and field mishaps and my mother was his first surgery patient. As well, my father helped build his house and would come home praising his down to earth attitude. After all these years we continue to miss him, his humour, his wonderful caring. Our sincerest condolences to you all. May he rest in Peace.

Dear Joanne
I stumbled across this – such a shock. You and John were so kind and generous to me when I was nannying for you. I remember you all with such fondness. Thinking of you. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Dear Joanne and family:
Warm memories come to mind about our
ski trip together many years ago. While
our paths haven’t crossed lately, I am
sorry to hear about John’s passing.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Joanne,
I was truly sorry to hear from my brother the sad news about my eldest cousin John. Even though our paths only crossed once as adults, Judy and my brother filled me in on his children and the successes of all of you. I have such nice memories of this older, very handsome cousin who still bothered to listen to me when I was at such an awkward age.
At this very difficult time , I hope you gain strength
from all your friends and family and the funny and kind stories they can share with you. You are certainly in my thoughts.
All the very best,
Mary Lou Bienefeld
Sincere sympathy and prayers to the family of Dr. Hunter. Say not in grief he is no more, but live in thankfulness that he was. Thoughts and prayers from the Kary family (Desmond, Rosie, June (Agnes), Sheila, Maureen and Michael.
Dear Joanne, Geoffrey and Tim,
When I read the obituary notice in the Herald, I thought how remarkable John was and how many people were touched and helped by him over his lifetime, myself included. You must be so proud of him! He was such a fine man and he loved you all so much.
I am sorry I could not be with you tomorrow as you commemorate and celebrate his life, but I will be with you in spirit.
You are in my thoughts and in my heart. My deepest sympathy to all of you for your loss.
