Condolences
I’m sorry to hear that Mrs Gette passed away. Rose Gette and Pete Gette were my Godparents. I will miss her big smile and her kindness.

To Rosa’s Family:
We first met Rosa in 1971 when the Woolco store in Northland Mall opened. My husband was the store manager and hired Rosa’s late husband Peter, for the stock room. We relocated in 1973 moving back to Calgary in 1992 at which time my husband was employed with Sears. She always made a point to stop by and say “hello”. Rosa possessed many talents. She loved to sew, cook and tend to her flowers and garden. Rosa was a beautiful lady who didn’t look her age. I was not surprised to hear that one doctor wouldn’t believe her age, so she jokingly offered to show him her driver’s license! What she endured during the last year was not easy and we will always remember her as our beautiful Rosa.
The Haslehurst family.
Rest in Peace Aunt Rosa, you are now in the arms of Jesus and walking toward reuniting with Uncle Pete. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Love you!
My wife and I are Volunteer drivers with the Cancer Society and we both got to know Rosa during the times we were taking her to the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic for her treatments.
We were both positively affected by her bubbly and happy disposition.
We offer our deepest sympathy to her family members at this time.
Sincerely,
Don and Helene Pearson
