Obituary of GETTE – Rosa

January 13, 1929 – May 15, 2010 Rosa Gette of Calgary passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Rosa was born in Kaminka, Russia and lived a simple life after immigrating to Canada. She was a long time employee of Sears Canada and following her retirement, Rosa especially enjoyed gardening and her flowers. Rosa was a devout Catholic and practiced her religion faithfully. Rosa is survived by her sisters Monica (Mervin) Barron, Angela (Brad) Norrington, Vickey Walter, Lucy (Mike) Sorbara and her brother Raphael Walter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rosa was predeceased by her husband Peter, two brothers Eugene Walter and Peter Walter, a sister and brother-in-law Eugenie and Bill Van Vlaanderen.
