I miss you dad!='(. I miss you telling us stories, lecturing us, your laugh, voice, jokes, everything”. Just seem like yesterday you were here. You kept strong for us until you couldn’t take no more pain. God saw you suffering and took you. Your body was tired but your spirit was still going. Its hard and we miss you greatfully. But were glad that you are not suffering and in a better place. We will meet again. Goodbye is not forever. But it just breaks us down when we can’t see you for awhile but time flys. On behalf of my family, I would like to take this time to say Thank you to everyone who was with us during our loss of a respected, wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, cousin, nephew and everything that he made himself to be. “A Somebody”. Lennaya and family;

The time for Woody came quickly and left little time to prepare. Your sorrow and grief are felt by many as you, and many members of the STA Security Unit, mourn the loss of a very respected father and team mate. In the short time I was graced to meet Woody, it was very evident that he was respected and honoured by the Stoney community and that Woody was a leader.

I am grateful for the time I was able to share in Woody’s life and pray that his soul remain at peace.

I’m very sorry for the loss of good man. When you met him somewhere he greeted you with a smile and a joke. It is his laugh that me & my family will miss the most. May God be with you in this time of need . Thank you Woody for touching our lives those summers you played – thank you – the kids will miss you.

I am overseas and just heard about Woody’s passing. I knew Woody and we became friends prior to his time working with the Mounted Police and thereafter. My condolences to you and your family, he was a good man and friend.
