Obituary of KOBROSLY- Georges

March 10, 1909 – April 15, 2010 Surrounded by his family who loved him very much, Georges Kobrosly, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 15, 2010. Georges lived and raised his family in his beloved Ain Arab, Lebanon for sixty eight years before moving to Calgary, Canada on November 17, 1977. He loved his profession as a shoemaker. He was very proud of his workmanship and dealing with his customers of which all became close friends. He will be fondly remembered by his wife of sixty three years Mary, son and daughter-in-law, Khalil and Sara and their children, George, Joanne and Karen; son and daughter-in-law, Elias and Deirdre and their children Michael, Katie, Christine and Jason; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Rola and their children Anthony, Joseph and Gabriella; daughter and son-in-law, Jourieh and Nasr Chahine and their children, Chady and Robecca; daughter Laura Habib and her children Donny, David and Diana and their families; and daughter and loving caregiver Evelene. Georges also has seven great grandchildren. He also has many relatives outside of Canada. Georges was predeceased by his son-in-law Michael Habib. We will miss his incredible spirit, kind heart, and love for family, church and everyone he came in contact with.
