Condolences
I’m so sorry to hear of Peggy’s death. When we worked together many years ago she was very kind and helpful to me when I was going through a hard time personally and emotionally. My thoughts and prayers are with Peggy, her family and friends.
Our prayers are with all of Ms.McCarthy family at this difficult time. She was a wonderful person and a great teacher.
God’s blessings to you all.
There is a big bright star in the heavens watching over us all and telling us how to do things!! Peg will be missed so very much by her family and friends. She was a great gal and I cherish our times together in Calgary, our California Tour with the girls, in Maui with Doris, and here in Nova Scotia. When Peg stayed with me several years ago we really got to know each other well and that friendship grew. I always looked forward to seeing her. She was kind, generous and considerate, and a tad bossy at times! She was loved dearly and I am sure that she knew it.
My condolences to all who were a part of Peg’s life. She has left a big hole, but that star will follow us all.
My prayers are with Peggy’s family at this time of grieving. I enjoyed working with Peg for many years and I know she will be missed by all who knew her.
God’s blessings to you all.
Peggy mentored me as a new teacher on my first contract at St.Monica’s school. She was coping with a difficulty with her leg so I taught her classes and she continued her counselling work. Although she was very uncomfortable, she didn’t allow it to interfere with who she was. She took time to talk to me and share her ideas and experiences with me and helped me to be a more successful teacher. I think this speaks volumes of her basic character and hope it comforts you to know that it was noticed and appreciated, even by someone who knew her but briefly.
I know that Peg is watching down on us all and hopefully sharing a glass of wine. Peg was a beautiful person in every way. She has left this world a better place and we will all miss her dearly. I am grateful that I have been able to share this time with Pat, but I want all of Peg’s family who have not been here in Calgary the last few days to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peg was very well loved and we all share this loss but we know that Peg is in a much better place. Much sympathy to all, Margie
