Obituary of McCARTHY – Peggy

August 29, 1946 – April 11, 2010 Peggy McCarthy was born in Tacoma, Washington on August 29, 1946. She was the third of four children born to James and Ida McCarthy. Peggy received a Bachelor of Arts from Seattle University and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Gonzaga University. She moved to Calgary in 1973 to work for the Calgary Separate School District, where she was employed for her entire career. Peggy was predeceased by her parents and survived by her siblings: Jim (Sue) McCarthy, Pat (Jim) Weber and Frank (Shelly) McCarthy; three nieces and three nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, especially The Wine Club.
