Obituary of GUTNICK – Thordis

December 12, 1929 – April 9, 2010 Thordis Gutnick (nee Asgeirsson) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 9, 2010, surrounded by her much loved family and Linda, a wonderfully caring nurse. Thordis (Mom, Amma) is survived by Nelson, her husband of fifty-five years; her four children, David (Loreen Pindera), Reva (Tomas Allen), Tannis (Bernard Feys), and Anna Lisa; by her loving grandchildren, Signy, Stefan, Iléana (and her mother, Carolyn Perkes), and Geovanni; her sister, Anna Pearce (Lorne Pearce, deceased) and her four children, Ingrid, Mark (Regina), Erik and Cameron (Mary Ellen); and by her brother-in-law Jim Struthers (her sister, Olina Struthers, deceased) and son Jamie Struthers (Ethel). A Memorial Service to honour Thordis’ life will be held at the Unitarian Church of Calgary (1703 – 1st Street N.W.) on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through .
