Ruthanne, her husband Stan, and I were all very good friends in high school. I spoke to her about three months ago and we had a terrific conversation. She was a great lady and will be missed very much. Our world is much less for her passing, but we are that much better for having known her.

Colleen & family,
I am very sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Our deepest sympathies and warmest wishes to the Price family. Toby was a great lady and a terrifc God-mother to me! We fondly remember their visits to Toronto and especially to our wedding way back in 1983. We still to this day have the beautiful picture your parents gave to us as a wedding gift. It hangs proudly in our home. We also have a fabulous picture that Stan painted of the Hawkins homestead hanging up!
They were great friends to Mom and Dad and Jane will miss her dearly, as we all will.
Take care everyone and try to remember just the good times and celebrate a wonderful life lived. Wish we could be at her Celebration of Life but it’s just not possible. Leilani would love to have performed and dedicated a Hawaiian dance to the memories of both Toby and Stan.
We think of them often.
Sincerely,
Adam and Leilani Hawkins and family
Our sincerest sympathy to the Price family on the loss of their mother.
Ruthanne will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,

To all the Price family. Very sorry to hear of the passing of Ruthanne, your mother. Unfortunately I don’t know any of you but I go back to 1944/46 time frame with your mother. She might have been the second girl friend in my life but she was in a class all by herself in joy, love of life and affection, no one could ‘top’ Ruthanne. I was the one who taught her to drive- a standard stick 1935 Oldsmobile at that, nothing could stop her either. I was a good friend of Stan, your dad, we went to St Mike’s (the old school) together and were all good friends over many years in Toronto. I kept in touch with your mother for a while after his untimely death but sadly lost track over the last few years. I am very sorry for your loss, I too will miss her smiling face and infectious laugh. My memories and prayers are with you.

To Ruthanne’s wonderful family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of great loss. We have lots of great memories of Ruthanne and shared lots of great times both in Calgary, where she was a gracious hostess and in Maui. We will miss talking about our shared love of Notre Dame, Humpbacks and golf.
Please find comfort in the fact that she is now at peace with Stan.
Love,
IdaMae and Pam
Very sorry to see that Ruthanne has passed away.
To the wonderful family of Ruthanne,
I still remember visiting the home of Ruthanne and Stan with its “open-door” friendliness and the constant comings and goings of you folks to check on your mum and dad, and do whatever you could to make their lives more comfortable. Your words in the obituary described Ruthanne so perfectly as she truly was “loved so much”.
She instilled her love into so many people’s lives as one reads all the names of her family and imagines all of her friends. She instilled her love into my life in spite of it being such a short interval of time.
You will miss her incredibly, but she and Stan will have left their indelible marks on all of you, and thus we have a more perfect world because of people like them and yourselves.
Sincerely,
June Kirk
