Dear Brian,

I just read on Tuesday of the passing of your father. My best memories of him were when you lived on 23 Ave NE. He was showing us some card tricks and as we drew cards from his hand he correctly identified them all. Also I remember you bringing some cedar boughs to school for show and tell. These, you related were brought by your father from one of his runs (RR) in the mountains. Somehow I pictured your dad leaning out the doorway of a moving train and snatching them up. My condolences to you and your family on this occassion.
