Obituary of KROUSE – Howard Roy

Roy Krouse passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene, his son Donald (Kendall) and two grandchildren, James and Edward, and his son Ian. Dr. Krouse served in the professional ranks at the University of Alberta and at the University of Calgary for over 40 years. He was a noted international scholar and research scientist, a recipient of numerous awards and a member of the Royal Society of Canada. Roy was a talented musician and a long-standing member of the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers. Dr. Krouse was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Mary Davidson Krouse, and two grandchildren, Olivia and Thomas.
