Condolences
Dear Greg and Family, I just returned home from being away and heard the sad news about the recent passing of Jan.
I knew and worked with Jan at the YWCA in the 1980’s. I have such fond memories of Jan’s positive and energetic ways, her laughter and big smile were infectious. She will be missed greatly.

Dear Greg and Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have many fond memories of working with Jan in the YWCA days of the late 70’s and early 80’s.
May all your warm and happy memories replace the grief and sadness you feel now.
Warm regards,
Sandi Carlile
Dear Greg and family,
I am so sad to hear of Jan’s passing. She was such a wonderful person. I will always remember her with a big smile on her face and such a positive and productive attitude. She cared about people and made everyone feel that they were special and important. I am sad that I did not have the opportunity to chat with Jan recently but with her big personality, I will remember her always.
Cathy
Dear Greg and family, I have fond memories of Jan, although many years ago now! She was often the first person to say a cheery “Good morning” as I would pass through Registration on my way to my office. I was looking at an old photo album the other day and smiled at a picture of Jan from our famous YWCA Halloween parties! Our deepest condolences, Annette and Don Martin
Dear Greg,
my memory of Jan will always be of her tenacity. Perhaps you’ll remember one of Ellie James’ early canoe trips. I think Jan was President, then, but not so much into formal exercise. Ellie had me jogging most days so I thought I could keep up with Jan. But she out did me — in the rain, sleeping on stones, eating stale peanut butter sandwiches –tenacity and a positive outlook (or perhaps you were doing all the heavy paddling?)
Dear Greg, I am sorry to hear of Jan’s passing, and remember her as a beautiful, kind neighbor at Sierras. You and she also introduced me to the Kirby Center, and I appreciate that and remember each time I go there! I will also think of her when I am at the Tallisman Center. Love, Colleen O’Brien
