October 20, 1952 – February 14, 2010 It is with profound sadness that the family of Brent Rawlinson announce his passing at Calgary, AB on Sunday, February 14, 2010 surrounded by family. Brent was born (October 20, 1952) and raised in Prince Albert, SK, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He moved to Calgary after graduating and started his career in the petroleum industry. Brent founded Creswick Petroleum Ltd. in the late seventies and became a successful entrepreneur in the oil and gas industry. He loved his Saskatchewan Roughriders almost as much as his summers at Waskesiu, SK, fishing and golfing with Parker and entertaining his many friends. In the past few years Brent spent time between the cottage and his homes in Calgary, AB and Mill Bay, BC. Brent will be deeply missed by his loving son Parker Creswick Milagro Rawlinson of Mill Bay, BC. He is also survived by Parker’s mother, Jenica Ashlie of Mill Bay, BC; Parker’s maternal grandmother Ann Monsebroten of Prince Albert, SK and Parker’s maternal grandfather Henry (Betty) Monsebroten of Spruce Grove, AB; his special cousin Wm. (Bill) Rawlinson, his aunt Wilma (Billie) Rawlinson and nephew Jason Paulson all of Prince Albert, SK; niece Lexi Harkness of Kindersley, SK; his sisters-in-law; Glenda Rawlinson of Bruno, SK, Margaret Paulson and Cheryl Stevenson of Prince Albert, SK, Darlene Chalmers of Saskatoon, SK, Ellen Harkness of Red Deer, AB and his treasured cousins and their families and dear friends from around the world. The family cannot begin to express the love and tremendous support given to Brent by his neighbours Dave and Marilyn Murphy of Mill Bay, BC. Brent was predeceased by his parents Harold (2004) and Doris (nee Brulotte) (2004) and his brothers Mitchell (1976) and Dale (2008). In Celebration of Brent’s life, there will be an informal gathering at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
