I am so sorry for your loss. Jenny was such an amazing women. I am so honoured to have had her as a coach I learned so much from her. Jenny always had a great big smile on her face and had the most positive attitude.
Sincerely,
Danielle
I got the email passed from Robb this morning. Very terrible news that left me shocked. Your family was such a great team. Seeing you guys always brought a big smile. This is such an unbelievable blow.
I pray that you have the strength and spirit to get through this and keep going. She lives on in your great kids and the many other blessings she left behind.
Your friend,
Alex
Dear Jim and family,

I am so sorry for your loss…Jenny was and always will be amazing, I feel very blessed to have known her. She always had a positive outlook, I will miss her greatly.
Jim, Tyler, Isaac, and the Vincent and Nield families, I’m so sorry to hear of Jenny’s passing. What a shock to lose such a bright and vibrant woman. Jenny was an inspiration to so many of us. Even though I haven’t seen you in a few years, I have the fondest of memories of the time we spent together in rugby in Montreal, kayaking on Vancouver Island, and hanging out in Calgary. I miss her, and will cherish my memories of her. Deepest condolences to all of you. I’m thinking of you.
Cindy
It’s so hard to find the right words that can possibly convey how sorry I am to hear about Jenny.
I knew Jenny as a fellow parent at Hillhurst School and around the community. She was always so cheerful, enthusiastic and upbeat that you couldn’t help but want to be near her. We were only just chatting about her horses and grad studies in October so this news is as shocking as it is heart-breaking.
It was comforting to learn that she lived such a rich & happy life with no regrets. I hope that her story inspires more of us to live our lives with so much sparkle, too. She certainly inspired me.
Sincerely,
The Rock family–Becky, Terry, Simon, Noah & Juliana
Dear Jim, Tyler and Issac,
Our prayers are with you.

I remember Jenny well from when we were both in graduate studies at UVic. She made an impression even then as a role model. I am so sorry to hear of her passing; the world is a darker place without her. My sincerest condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Jenny’s brief battle with cancer. Jenny and I rode together at Willowgrove a few years ago. We had so much fun competing together. I looked forward to the day she would be competing again with us but knew Jenny was busy with her PhD, family, rugby. What a tragic loss of a wonderful person with so much to live for. I am so sorry for her family.
Jim, Tyler and Isaac,
Our hearts and prayers are with you always. If we can be of any help at all through-out this time of need, just ask. We’re all here to help.
The OOSC Team
My prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. I feel so sad that you’ve lost a wife, mother, sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, friend, and coach. Each role is so precious and irreplaceable. I pray that God may comfort you and set you on the road to healing. The parishioners of Glebe-St. James United Church in Ottawa send their deepest condolences and are including the Nield/Vincent families in their prayers. Please take care, Christine
To the Vincent family,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
I was one of the fortunate “young rugby players” who had Jenny for my coach. She taught me so much. She was a major mentor in my life. She shared her love of “her” support and took me under her wing.
She was a legend in herself, her actions selfless and reflective of the amazing woman that she was. She will be deeply missed.
Sincerely,
Desiree Emery
To the Vincent Family,
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother.
Jenny played an integral part in the life of our daughter, Desiree as her rugby coach. She was not only her coach, but her mentor and friend. She was the first coach who convinced Desiree that she had the “Potential” to achieve in this sport.
Desiree is England right now pursuing her dream, due in large part to the encouragement that she received from Jenny in her early years of rugby.
Desiree was very saddened to hear of the news of Jenny’s death, and so were we.
We will pray for you and your family that our heavenly Father will provide you with the strength and comfort you will need during this sobering time and in the months ahead.
God bless,
John & Diane Emery (Desiree’s parents)
Jim and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jim, Tyler and Issac,
I wish you strength and courage in going on without Jen, such a bright light in your lives and in the lives of many people. Remember all the joy she brought you and everyone she knew. I have known Jen throughout our rugby years at John Abbott College, Ste. Anne’s Rugby Club, Quebec- and Canada-level rugby; in short, some of the best years of our lives.
She was all about laughter and joy. I am sure you know that better than anyone. Having seen the photo posted on Internet, I realized that she had not changed a bit, was as radiant as ever.
I feel great compassion for you in having to deal with the loss of such a great wife, mother, and friend. Know that you are not alone in feeling this loss, even if I am at quite a distance from you. Love Lucy
•May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.
Sincerely Doug and Sheril Mathieu
Dear Jim & boys,
We are so deeply sad to hear about Jen’s passing. Aaron received the e-mail yesterday and you have been in our thoughts and prayers continually. Aaron was telling me yesterday about staying at your house last year, and walking to school with Jen and the kids. He said what a beautiful wife, mother, and person she was. Life does not make sense sometimes. However, Jen’s death is a reminder to appreciate every single day, and cherish those close to your heart. Our prayers are with you in the days and months to come.
With much love, Aaron, Lauren, Jackson, and Abby.
Dear Jim,
We are so sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
The Alvarez family.
Jim, Isaac and Tyler – Our family sends our deepest condolences to you all. Jen was a constant part of our lives for the past 10 years as a fellow parent at the daycares and school – shining in her role as a great mom. We didn’t know her well in the other areas of her life – but all really loved her positive energy, great smile and caring, kind presence. Our thoughts and support are with you.
Sincerely,
Kelly Farley, Sophie, Bella & Will White
