Obituary of DONALDSON – Evelyn Ann

July 30, 1921 – January 18, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Evelyn Ann Donaldson at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Evelyn loved Calgary and considered it home after relocating from her birthplace of Montreal, QC over thirty years ago. Mom was a most caring, kind, and loving soul who always put family first. Her humour and selflessness were apparent right up until the end; for that we thank you Mom. Evelyn is survived by her children, Bob (Edith), Cheryl (Al), and Audrey (Dennis); six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; sister Margie; brother Allan (Patty), and sister-in-law Pat. Evelyn was predeceased by the love of her life for fifty-eight years, her husband Jack; sister Viola; and brother Don. We wish to thank Dr. Simmons and the staff at the Rockyview Hospital for their caring support and compassion during our time of need. In addition, we wish to thank Dr. Wayne Warnica for being such a wonderful doctor and friend for the last thirty-four years. At Evelyn’s request, no funeral service will be held.
