Condolences
I was very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. I recently met your father at Southwood Nursing Home, when I noticed he lived there, as both of my parents do. I couldn’t remember when I worked with Roy at first, but it now came to me, as we both worked at the Courthouse, as Judicial Clerks.
Roy was such a fine person to work with and always so decent and kind. We had some good laughs together as well.
I just wanted to let you all know what a wonderful dad you all had. God Bless
Permit me to offer my heartfelt sympathies and feelings to the family and friends of Roy Burgess. He lived a long and good life and has now been laid to a well earned rest. A very sad time in the lives of all who loved and knew him. He will be remembered for life by those who knew him. It might ease the pain a bit by keeping in mind that this happens to all of us sooner or later.
To Connie, Carol, Leslie and the grandkids. I am sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He and your mom were like a second family to me when Connie & I were in school and for many years after. I kept in contact with them over the years so I could keep tabs on you all. It is tough to lose your parents but they will live on in your hearts and minds for years to come. I am glad I got to see him during Connie’s last visit. I will also miss him.
Barb
